Full Charge Bookkeeper (Part-Time)

 Our multi client, full-service Accounting Firm is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper. As we continue to expand, we require a skilled professional who can keep pace with our growth and help us achieve our goals. This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving organization and make a significant impact on its success.


The Bookkeeper will report directly to the CEO and be responsible for taking on a variety of specialized tasks along with routine and advanced duties to support our in house team of professionals. You will serve as a primary client point of contact and must be able to engage other people from various levels of management in a professional and positive manner.



Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
  • Process invoices, payments, and expenses efficiently and ensure timely payments to vendors and suppliers.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets, providing insights and recommendations to management.
  • Monitor cash flow and assist with cash management activities.
  • Conduct regular audits of financial transactions, identifying and resolving any discrepancies or errors.
  • Assist with payroll processing, including tax calculations and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders, such as auditors, tax authorities, and banking institutions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in bookkeeping and financial management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar financial role, preferably in a small to medium-sized organization.
  • Strong proficiency in bookkeeping software and financial management tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial analysis.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
